The Enigma that is being a leafs fan.

I am without question a huge leafs fan, which could be considered strange in itself but the point of this is to examine the enigma of being a leafs fan at this point in time. I watch every game i can and those i cant i listen to on radio, because i am a diehard fan i cant stand to watch them lose. That being said i am also a realist and i get that it would be best if they were to finish last or there abouts so that they could get a high pick possibly one Steven Stamkos. This is unfortunately a disturbing conundrum, but the act of being a leafs fan is not the only enigma in leaf land nowadays. A great enigma is the leafs themselves, for instance they go on a four game road trip through Ottawa, Florida, Tampa Bay, and Washington they get 7 out of the 8 possible points, not so confusing in itself but consider that in Washington they allowed the first goal of the game and didnt score in the first, in florida they fell behind by two before scoring their first goal late in the second, finally in Tampa they also fell behind two nothing this time waiting till the third period to get their first goal. Confusing, i thought so especially when you consider the last time they played Florida they were shellacked eight nothing. Weird...... But despite the aura of confusion surrounding the team you just have to love them because nobody knows how lose and still be lovable like they do. And man they are very good at losing.
